1. Lead-in
Ask simple questions about the park: Do you like going to the park?

2. Vocabulary Introduction
Introduce and practise key action phrases.

Complete short “play with the… / walk in the…” prompts.
3. Reading: Emily in the Park
Read a short story about Emily’s day.
Identify what she does in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Answer basic comprehension questions.
4. Grammar Focus: Present Simple
Learn the forms: I/you/we/they ride • he/she/it rides.
Practise adding -s for third-person singular.
Complete example sentences about daily routine.
