This ESL Lesson Plan helps students learn basic vocabulary for different rooms in a house, including bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and study. Through reading, speaking, and labelling activities, A1 learners practice describing rooms and using simple sentences in English. They learn the target vocabulary for different objects in the house and practice using the grammar structures “There is/There are.” Students also practice describing different rooms and talking about what can be found in each space. The lesson includes listening, reading, as well as drawing activities.
