1. Definitions

• Account — a unique account created for you to access the Service.

• Company ("we", "us", "our") — Tata English, Riga, Latvia.

• Service — the educational content (lessons, videos, materials) provided through the Website.

• Subscription — paid access to premium content, offered on a recurring basis.

• Website — www.tataenglish.net

• You — the individual accessing or using the Service.

2. Acknowledgment

These Terms govern your use of the Service and the agreement between you and the Company. By using the Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country). The Company does not knowingly permit those under 18 to use the Service.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an Account.

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your Account.

• Accounts are for individual use only. You may not share your Account with any other person.

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account.

• We reserve the right to suspend or delete Accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free and Paid Content

Some content on the Website is available free of charge. Premium content requires an active Subscription.

Purchasing a Subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your own professional teaching purposes only (e.g. using materials with your own students). This licence does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

5. Subscription and Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis.

• Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

• You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your Account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• We reserve the right to change Subscription fees with at least 30 days' prior notice, communicated via the email address associated with your Account.

6. Refunds

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds once access to paid content has been granted.

If we terminate the Agreement before the end of your paid Subscription period for reasons within our control, we will issue a pro-rata refund for the unused portion.

7. Permitted Use

You may access, download, and print materials for your own personal teaching use. You may share materials with your own students in a private, closed setting.

You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, sell, or publish the materials

• Share your Account with others

• Use the materials for commercial purposes beyond your own teaching

• Modify or create derivative works from the materials without written permission

• Attempt to access, disrupt, or damage the Website or its systems

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including lessons, videos, worksheets, scripts, and graphics — is the exclusive property of Tata English and is protected by copyright and applicable law. Purchasing a Subscription does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

9. Termination

By you: You may delete your Account at any time. If you delete your Account before the end of a paid Subscription period, you will not receive a refund and will lose access immediately.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your Account with immediate effect if you violate these Terms, or with 30 days' notice if we discontinue the Service. Where termination is due to reasons within our control, we will refund any unused portion of your Subscription.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The educational materials are provided for informational purposes and we make no guarantees regarding specific learning outcomes.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of material changes via the email address associated with your Account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. If you are an EU resident, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.

13. Complaints and Disputes

Complaints may be submitted by email to hello@tataenglish.net. We will respond within 14 days of receiving your complaint.

If you reside in the EU, you may also use out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms available in your country, or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
